The SARC Board of Directors focuses on strategic leadership and guidance to SARC’s Executive Director and Leadership Team in their work to support and strengthen the Disability Service sector and SARCAN Recycling system.

Coming from many different communities across Saskatchewan, their varied backgrounds and experiences contribute to a rich collaboration toward the betterment and sustainability of SARC’s services and SARCAN Recycling.
With virtual and in-person meeting options available, SARC Board Directors can participate in the way that works for their schedule, availability, and preference.
As per SARC’s bylaws, the SARC Board is made up of the following individuals:
- 12 Directors who are either a Board Director or the most senior staff person at a SARC Regular or Associate Member organization, elected by SARC Regular and Associate Members
- 1 Treasurer, appointed by the SARC Board
- 1 Past President (if applicable), appointed by the SARC Board
The call for nominations to the SARC Board goes out to the SARC Membership in March of each year (or as necessary to fill vacancies).
