2023 was a year of records and recognition.

In this report, you’ll find updates on how SARC is promoting the Disability Service Sector with the “Start With Hello” campaign and a newly created job board to highlight careers in the sector. SARC is also very proud to talk about achieving accreditation under Image Canada’s Standards Program.

The Member Services Division saw participation increase in almost all areas. It was a record-breaking year for the number of SARC Member employees registered in professional development and participation in Compass Training Package programs!

You’ll also read that this past year, SARCAN has recycled over 500 Million beverage containers, the largest volume in a single year over our 36-year history. SARCAN also completed many facility upgrades, relocated 4 depots across the province, as well as updated and enhanced employee training courses.
