SARC Partnership with The Boland Survey

SARC is pleased to partner with CCVO (Calgary Chamber of Voluntary Organizations) to offer a special discount of 10% for SARC Members who participate in the 2021 Boland Survey. The Boland Survey is a comprehensive source of HR and compensation data for the Canadian nonprofit sector.

Why Should I Participate?

There are many reasons to participate in The Boland Survey.

• Help your organization make informed comparisons and predictions on salary and human resource practices.
• Boland has 96 benchmark positions and there are similar matches to common positions at SARC Members, plus a wide range of others that may match with other positions you employ.
• Get information on a variety of HR practices, such as flextime, on-boarding, paid time off, professional development practices, employee recognition, and recruitment practices.
• Utilize an online platform with more filtering abilities to see data that is meaningful to you.
• Access to more comparison data to employers outside of the SARC Membership – across Canada as well as regional reports.

When is the Deadline?

SARC Members are invited to submit data until December 17, 2021, when the survey closes.

How Long Does It Take?

Completing the survey takes approximately 1-3 hours. Once data is submitted, it is analyzed and reports are created. By using the SARC discount code (emailed directly to SARC Members) you will be included in a SARC Member exclusive report, which will be generated if 15 or more organizations participate. This will allow you to see a SARC Member only comparison in addition to the provincial and regional comparison available.

How Much Does It Cost?

The subscription rate for participants is on a sliding scale based on the number of staff at your organization. This ranges from $149 for 0-5 staff, $249 for 6-25 staff, $349 for 26-50 staff, $449 for 51-100 staff, and $559 for 100+ staff. Your subscription gives you access to the data year-round, reports, and support from the CCVO team.
