Saskatchewan Paint Recycling Program
The Province of Saskatchewan has issued a Waste Paint Management Regulation. The regulation requires the paint industry to manage a consumer take-back program in Saskatchewan for leftover household paint.
The Program is managed by the paint industry through its non-profit
association, Product Care (members include manufacturers, distributors, and retail).
Product Care contracts with SARCAN Recycling to accept paint drop-offs without charge at any SARCAN depot location across the province.
Where can you take leftover paint?
Paint can be dropped off without charge at any of SARCAN's
depot locations across the province.

Reusable Paint
All SARCAN depots have a supply of reusable paint on hand that is available to the public. Reusing unwanted paint is a cost-effective and energy-efficient alternative to recycling paint. Use it for buildings, walls, fences, and craft projects and help divert it from our landfills and waterways.
This paint is free of charge, but customers must sign a waiver form before removing it from our depots. This paint is not inspected and cannot be guaranteed.
