Why Recycle Milk Containers?

There are many good reasons to recycle milk containers:

You can conserve resources: By recycling paper and plastics, you are conserving trees (a renewable resource) and oil or natural gas (non-renewable resources).  Using recycled materials requires only 25% of the energy that is consumed in making new materials.
You can reduce waste: Recycling bulky milk containers reduces the cost to collect waste, to transport it, and to landfill it (reducing taxes).
It's easy: Preparing milk containers only takes a few seconds and collection points are conveniently located near you!
It’s the right thing to do.
