Deposit Beverage Containers

SARCAN Recycling holds the exclusive contract with the Government of Saskatchewan to recycle most non-refillable, ready-to-serve beverage containers.

Accepted Containers:

Remember:

• Remove the cap
• Rinse the container
• Reduce its size

 

SARCAN cannot accept:

1.  Any beverage container purchased outside of Saskatchewan
2.  Foil pouches
3.  Refillable water jugs (i.e., Culligan)
4.  Nutritional supplements (i.e., Boost, Ensure)
5.  Plastic juice containers with foil top (i.e., McDonald's)
6.  Baby juices (i.e., Heinz)
7.  Concentrates (anything that has to be mixed with something else in order to be consumed)
8.  Other household glass, plastic, and metal containers (i.e., pickle jars, margarine tubs, vegetable tins)
