The Wheatland Regional Centre operates on the principle that each individual directs his/her own destiny. We believe in hearing the voice of each individual by encouraging freedom of choice. Our role is providing support to those we serve by assisting them in making informed decisions while they work to achieve their goals. |
| Specific Programs Offered: |
The Industry Program exists to provide opportunities for its program participants to learn and enhance their work skills by partaking in various vocational programs offered by the Centre. We also provide an Activity Program, Supportive Apartment Living Program, and a Supportive Independent Living Program. There are also three Group Homes, an apartment building, and a camp ground and mobile home park run by the Centre. Participants also help operate a driving range and two paper recycling and SARCAN recycling programs. |
