Brief Organization Description:	Harvest Community is a non-profit organization which is dedicated to the care and growth of disabled persons. Harvest is governed by a Board of Directors.  Harvest Community is also a Christian community that provides employment opportunities, vocational, recreational, and agricultural programs for persons with special needs.
Specific Programs Offered:	Projects are selected to allow disabled workers the opportunity to participate in work activities that are meaningful, inclusive, as well as challenging, fostering growth in achieving success. Some of these projects are: making wiping rag from used clothing and scrap hospital linens, assembling handi-flags for Crown Corporations. Agricultural projects include raising chickens and growing Saskatoon berries and vegetables. Harvest Community owns and operates Camp Grizzly at Deschambault Lake. Our camp engages people in recreational activities such as fishing, hiking, swimming, crafts, games, and fellowship. Harvest also operates four SARACAN depots in Regina employing 55 individuals, most of whom are persons with special needs. As a Christian community, we allow the opportunity for people to express their faith through daily prayer and prayer meetings twice a month.
